Auditions & Registration

We are excited to welcome new and returning singers to Florida Singing Sons for the 2026-2027 season! Our program is open to boys in grades 2–12 and girls in grades 9–12. Whether you're brand new to choir or an experienced singer, there’s a place for you here! We invite all interested families to begin the process below. Fall classes start August 18, 19, and 20.

Step 1: Register Online (Required Before First Rehearsal)

Full registration consists of submitting both the registration form and the registration fee.

All singers—new and returning—must submit the online registration form before attending their first rehearsal.

This helps us prepare for placement, communicate important updates, and ensure a smooth and organized start to the season.

  • Complete this INTEREST FORM

  • Attend Trial/Placement Week/class

  • If deciding to join, submit the full Registration Form and pay Registration Fee after trial class/placement is completed

Step 2: Attend First Week of Rehearsals (Trial/Placement Week)

Once registration is submitted, ALL singers (both new and returning members) must attend the first-week rehearsal that corresponds to their current school grade (listed with each ensemble below). For new singers, this first rehearsal serves as both a free trial experience and an opportunity for our artistic staff to assess placement. 

During the first rehearsal, singers will: 

  • Meet the directors

  • Participate in rehearsal with students in their grade-level group

  • Receive ensemble placement based on age, experience, and readiness

If a singer appears to be a stronger fit for a different ensemble than that of the rehearsal they attended, our artistic staff will make that placement adjustment after the initial rehearsal. 

First Week of Rehearsals-Trial/Placement week:

  • Tuesday, August 18 – Apprentice Choir (Boys grades 2–5)

  • Wednesday, August 19 – Second Generation Singers & Chorale Soleil (Boys and girls grades 9–12)

  • Thursday, August 20 – Concert Choir (Boys grades 6-8; Placement-based group for returning and newly placed singers)

*Concert Choir normally rehearses on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the first week of the season, Concert Choir will meet only on Thursday, allowing our artistic staff time to work with new singers and make ensemble placements. Any singers placed into Concert Choir during the week will then be able to also attend Thursday's rehearsal. 

Step 3: Complete Enrollment

After attending the first rehearsal and receiving placement confirmation, new families who choose to join Florida Singing Sons/Chorale Soleil will complete the enrollment process.

Returning members: Please submit your registration fee when you complete your registration form (Step 1).

New students: If you attended through the Season Interest Form and decide to join us after your trial/placement experience, you will then complete the full registration form and submit the registration fee. If you already submitted the registration form, then you just need to pay the registration fee.
